A NOTE TO MICHIGAN FANS
Orson Swindle via EDSBS on Thu, 20 Nov. 2008
Before the Curious Index, we felt the need to mention this: we had a dream last night, and it did not involve Nigella Lawson covered in Nutella. No, in this dream, Michigan actually beat Ohio State on Saturday. This won’t happen, as our dreams have an atrocious record at predicting the future. (Still waiting on the hang gliders for dogs we saw in a dream a few years ago, and we havenâ readmore

Shared by Amish Good Lord this is incredible."Also: they made a taco out of chocolate, people. That’s some Wonka-level shit right there." So I like fast food. Not in theory, not out of convenience, not for price. I like it because it's delicious. Like many people who grew up to be functioning, happy, intellectually curious adults, I did not enjoy high school. At all.In fact, by the time I graduated -- having pretty much divided my senior year between a) dodging a group of delinquent freshmen who kept throwing gum in my hair, b) crying in the bathroom when one of the resident Mean Girls called me fat, and c) attempting to deb readmore

Election Funday: Barack Obama
Unemployed via The Hobo Blogs on Thu, 06 Nov. 2008
I was asked by my comments to discuss my thoughts on the brand spanking new president. However, I would like to tell you what I think. In all honestly, I am holding my breath, reserved in my thought that Obama is our saviour. Everyone across this great country suddenly readmore

The Loudest Silence
Andy via Well, at least I think I'm on Thu, 30 Oct. 2008
When most people commute to work they most likely do so in the privacy of their own car. They have their radio on with music or talk gurgling out from the speakers, maybe they curse a little at the guy who cut them off or sing along to their tunes, but probably they’re the only person in the car. In New York when you commute, either by foot or by train, the experience is really odd. readmore

A Googler via The Official Google Blog on Mon, 27 Oct. 2008
It's no secret that we have fun finding innovative solutions to big problems. Unfortunately, dinner was only available on main campus, readmore
